100% of your donation stays within the town of Brookline to support our community.
Your donation will primarily be directed towards the Brookline Food Pantry, which includes the Brookline Thrives program. The Brookline Food Pantry works with families to provide fresh produce, frozen items, as well as shelf stable food and basic necessities. On a normal, non-pandemic, week, the pantry receives 11,500 pounds of food from the Greater Boston Food Bank alone, as well as additional donations from grocery stores. With the opening of a third location and the additional stress from this pandemic, the pantry ordered 14,200 pounds from the Greater Boston Food Bank this past week. The Brookline Thrives program works with the Public Schools of Brookline to deliver after school snacks and weekend bags to students, even during this crisis. A donation of 250 dollars provides weekend meals to a student for a whole year. The food pantry remains open during this crisis as it provides essential services to our community.Boston Food Bank alone, as well as additional donations from grocery stores.
